This piece centers on a specific part of the body to express pride in identity. The gear-shaped necklace symbolizes our functional roles in society, visible, surface level, and often ornamental. The detailed texture of the skin represents our genetic makeup and social conditioning, elements we cannot escape but must learn to navigate. True freedom, however, is symbolized by the inner space: two figures walking down a path within the throat, framed by towering golden columns. This internal scene reflects the importance of our inner dialogue. The use of gold throughout highlights the idea that we each possess innate, inherent value.
